Pilot Project Implementation Schedule

Based on a three-year project implementation plan, the following development schedule with yearly significant milestones has been planned for CANEUS NPS:

Year 1
• Satellite design definition and MEMS component fabrication according to standardized spacecraft specifications.
• Setting up of infrastructure for fabrication, assembly and testing of satellites, at main manufacturing site.
• Set up of clean room, fabrication, assembly and test equipment.

Year 2
• MEMS component fabrication, and other component fabrication, assembly and test support.
• Fabrication, assembly and testing of spacecraft
• Continued infrastructure investments for fabrication, assembly and test equipment

Year 3
• Spacecraft integration, testing, launch and ground operations support.
• Launch and ground operations

Assuming a Three Year phase implementation plan, 2006 CANEUS-NPS will  follow the schedule shown below. There has been two CANEUS NPS missions generated: NPS-1 and NPS-2. In Table 2.0 below, the Schedule of CANEUS NPS implementation is shown.
