Max Vozoff

Max Vozoff received his Bachelors Degree with Honors in Electrical & Communications Engineering from Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Western Australia in 1993, and a Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering (Astronautics) from the University of Southern California in 2002. He spent 8 years designing electronic hardware for commercial communications equipment before joining the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in 2000. At JPL he contributed to missions including GRACE, Jason, COSMIC, ST3/Starlight, ST5, UAVSAR and other technology development programs. His System Engineering contributions included numerous mission studies, spacecraft concept designs and a Structural Health Management Systems for Lunar Habitats study. He also mentored teams of summer interns as they performed mission designs and concept developments for the JPL Mars Office. In 2005 he joined Space Exploration Technologies as Senior Mission Manager and managed the Demo 2 Falcon 1 flight which launched from Kwajalein in March 2007. He is also Program Manager for the SpaceX’s Commercial Orbital Transportation Services development (COTS) and Product Manager for the Dragon spacecraft.
