Francis PRESSECQ received a degree in Microelectronics from Institut National des Sciences Appliquees in 1987 and was post graduated from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications in Space System Technology in 1988. From 1989 to 1995 he worked on ASIC Test and Design at CNES. Since 1995 he manages R&D projects on microsystem technology, mainly on reliability and design aspects. He is in close connection with European and US partners specialized in microsystem technologies for space applications. He is member of several expert or scientific committees. He is author or co-author of more than 40 papers in microelectronic and microsystem including chapters of book. From 1999 to 2003 he was in charge of the failure analysis department at CNES. In 2004 he becomes manager of Laboratories and Expertise Division in CNES.
