CANEUS Strategy
The CANEUS 2004 Conference offers researchers the opportunity to form teams, including international ones, to work together on ambitious projects with the intent of integrating a variety of basic micro-nanotechnologies into high-level systems. From the perspective of such a joint project, and in the light of the wider picture given by clear and open communication among all members of the CANEUS community, it will be much easier for individual researchers to work consciously towards the development of unique skills and novel techniques and devices that will complement those available from others. At CANEUS 2004, workshop participants from Canada, Europe, the United States, and Asia (including researchers, systems integrators, funding agencies, and aerospace systems buyers) will plan real-world projects of priority interest to the buyers that will lead to prototypes of high-level systems that combine complementary technologies under development in different labs.
