Financial Support for Delegates from Developing Countries
Montreal, 5 July 2010 - The Workshop Committee will award a limited number of grants to help defray the expenses of delegates from developing countries who are scheduled speakers or provide a poster presentation at the conference.
The recipients of travel / accommodation / registration assistance will be mainly delegates from Africa, Asia, South / Latin Americas. Grants may also be available to a small number of senior policy-makers from other regions. Since the level of financial support is dependent on contributions to the Workshop Program from potential partners / funding agencies, this support may cover only partial costs - applicants are encouraged to seek at least some support from their home sponsoring organizations.
Application Materials
To apply for a CSSP Financial grant, please supply the following information:
- One-page summary covering needs and potential level of participation in the proposed CSSP system, which will be presented as a Poster / Presentation at the workshop,
- A letter of approval from the Candidate’s home organization
- CV (curriculum vitae),
- The proposal reporting the expected travel expenses (airfare, hotel, meals, registration fee and others) and expenses that will be covered by the home institution
